Our technology-driven firm’s Sales Department currently has an immediate opening for an entry level Sales Engineer. The Engineer will be responsible for carrying out the duties of the Sales and Engineering Department, including: design, research, prototyping, engineering documentation, estimating, communicating and working with the 30 years of machines in the IPS customer database

Qualifications:

• Solid Works & AutoCad 1 year (required)
• Sales Strategy & Development Managers: (0-1 years Preferred)
• Specialty Chemical Sales: (0-1 years Preferred)
• Process Engineering  (0-1 years Preferred)
• Mechanical Engineering (0-1 years Preferred)
• Electrical Engineering (0-1 years Preferred)
• Technical Sales Engineers: (0-1 years Preferred)

Responsibilities: This Position requires calling on, and building relationships with, important technical engineers, purchasing and manufacturing decision-makers to sell our tools and spare parts.  You will communicate how to best meet current and future customer and repair and maintenance needs, as well as helping to establish annual service. You will become technically adept at discussing our products and preparing technical presentations to help promote our products and our company.

Requirements: The minimum requirement for this position is a Technical Degree in  Engineering or a related discipline and Technical Experience and 0-1 years of Sales Experience working in the High-Performance Capital Equipment industry. Domestic travel will be required. We will train the right candidate.

This position offers a base salary and commissions and a comprehensive benefits package.
